Pattern Trainer — Privacy Policy

Pattern Trainer (“the App”) is an educational application designed to help users practise recognizing and understanding candlestick chart patterns.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Pattern Trainer collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Training Progress Pattern Trainer stores information about your training activity, including: Questions you have answered Whether your answer was correct The direction you selected The expected pattern direction The candlestick pattern associated with the question Relevant historical return information associated with the training example The date and time of training attempts This information is used to provide statistics, track your progress, and improve the selection of future training questions.
Training progress is currently stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard iOS storage facilities. Your training history is not uploaded to a Pattern Trainer server.
Deleting the App may remove locally stored application data according to the behaviour of the operating system.
Pattern Trainer may use Apple’s Foundation Models framework to generate educational explanations of candlestick patterns. When an explanation is requested, the App may provide the model with structured information about the training example, such as:
Your answer and whether it was correct This information is provided to generate an educational explanation of the chart. Pattern Trainer does not intentionally provide your name, email address, contact information, or other personally identifying information to the model.
The availability and processing of AI-generated explanations may depend on your device, operating system, and Apple’s Foundation Models capabilities.
AI-generated explanations are educational and may not always be accurate.
If analytics, advertising, or other third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Financial Information Pattern Trainer does not connect to brokerage accounts, bank accounts, or financial accounts. The App does not execute trades or provide access to financial accounts.
Financial Disclaimer Pattern Trainer is an educational application. Information presented by the App, including candlestick patterns, historical returns, market context, and AI-generated explanations, is provided for educational purposes only.
Historical performance does not guarantee future results.
Nothing in Pattern Trainer should be considered financial, investment, trading, or professional advice.
Children’s Privacy Pattern Trainer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not require an account or intentionally collect personal identifying information, there is no registration process through which the App knowingly collects such information.
Third-Party Services Pattern Trainer does not currently operate its own backend service for storing user training history. The App may use Apple-provided system frameworks, including Foundation Models, where supported.
Apple’s own privacy policies and terms may apply to Apple services and operating-system functionality.
Because Pattern Trainer does not currently maintain a remote user account or central training-history database, there is no separate online account that needs to be deleted.
The “Last updated” date at the beginning of this document indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
